Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft outlook is primarily an email management service, it allows the user to manage multiple email accounts in one platform. On top of that, Outlook also includes a calendar service to assist with scheduling and managing time. The software encourages managing events on the calendar dynamically through emails, including ways to link calendar events in emails. Additionally, it is compatible with other Microsoft software services, most notably Microsoft Teams, in which case meetings on teams can be scheduled via Outlook, as well as the teams and outlook calendars being able to be synced.

Email Management
Outlook's primary functionality is management of emails. One of the largest appeals is that it allows one to manage multiple email accounts simultaneously. One can send and check emails from multiple accounts quickly, without having to log out of the previous one and into the new one. Outlook also allows you to keep a list of contacts, with information about them, so that it is easier to find specific people you may wish to work with again.

Calendar
Another large part of Outlook is it's calendar. Outlook's calendar allows one to schedule in events and view them as a visual representation of the time management of your day, week, and month. This calendar can be shared with others in order to notify them of then you are busy, and with what, and when you are not busy. Additionally, Outlook's calendar supports cross compatibility with Microsoft Teams, allowing meetings to show up on the calendar, and to be scheduled directly from it. In this way, while scheduling a Teams meeting, you can also have Outlook send emails to each participant, either notifying them of the meeting, or requesting confirmation of participation.
