Zoom
Zoom
Zoom is an program which allows teams to hold video conferences. Zoom become a popular solution to the issue of distance learning and working from home during covid 19 quarantines. Zoom's positives include that it is completely free to use for people joining the meeting, and the ease of use of the software. Only the person hosting the meeting will have to make a zoom account, and the host can make a free account with the only downsides of restricted meeting length and the lack of some premium features. Zoom does have some issues when it comes to security which Zoom has been improving on over time.

On this screen enter the name you would like to join the meeting under. The meeting ID will have to be provided by the host. Click join when ready. You will be asked to enter a password which the host should also be able to provide you.
Your screen should look like this while in a meeting with other members in the meeting displayed at the top and the person currently speaking as the focus of the screen. The bar along the bottom allows you to mute yourself, turn on your camera, manage security settings, view participants, type messages in chat, share your screen, record the meeting, and use reactions. Some of these options are reserved for the meeting host so do not be concerned if you are missing some. To end the meeting or leave click the red button on the lower right. As the host you are able to end the meeting for everyone when you leave.
